How to grow loganberries in containers

Growing loganberries in containers is doable, but requires more effort than just planting them to the ground. Loganberry plants can grow tall and vigorous, therefore you'll need to choose larger containers and provide support for the canes. However ifs fully doable and loganberries in containers can produce plenty of berries during the season. Read this post for more details.

Loganberry plants
Loganberries were created in California, more than 100 years ago. Its a mix between blackberry and red raspberry. they produce sweet tasting berries, which are great consumed fresh, can be used for jams and even home made wine.

April
In April, once the weather gets slightly warmer, loganberries start growing leaves and prepare for flowering.

Also in April, loganberries start growing new cane shoots.

May
In May loganberries fully flower.
